Concert in Mumbai

On November 6th, 2015, one of our YAC members organized a free open-air concert in the slums of Mumbai, more precisely in one of the former WIN (Women in India Network) project areas, which benefitted from IFPD’s support between 2001 and 2012. He invited a group of French classical musicians, who were attending a festival in India, to give a performance in this unusual setting. The interaction between the musicians and the beneficiaries (200 people) was amazing and everyone experienced an intense and profound moment. The musicians are eager to participate in other events of this kind.
